Who
Should Take A Senior Picture?
All students
who are classified as a senior or graduating junior. Graduating
juniors must be "official" with the registrar's office before
they can take a senior portrait.
How
Much Does It Cost?
There is a
modest sitting fee for each student. Cost of packages depends on how
many poses and how many pictures you decide to print. The GPHS Journalism
department feels that Judi's is the best local photographer. They offer
convenience, competitive prices, high quality and individualized service.
Why
Is It Important To Take My Senior Photo At Judy's?
Due to our
contract, only photos taken by the Official School Photographer
- Judy's Photography are allowed to be used in the school
yearbook. If a student does not take a yearbook photo, then they
will not be included in the Senior Section of the yearbook.
Yearbook Senior Photo Policy
-Senior portraits will be taken and submitted only by the photographer chosen by the school and in the style(s) approved by the senior class sponsor. For the 2003-20024 school year, this will be Judy's Photography and the style chosen is tuxedo for boys and drape for girls.
-Senior portraits must be taken at least 30 days before the color deadline in November to be guaranteed publication. Seniors who miss that deadline can not expect to be included in the yearbook. THE LAST DAY TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT WITH JUDI'S IS OCTOBER 14, 2003.
Many students do not like their first photo sitting. If that is true in your case, then you will need a retake. If you wait for the Last Chance - THERE WILL NOT BE A RETAKE possible. If you miss your appointment, there will not be another chance to be in the yearbook.
